The video is super helpful but in the situation I have my anti reversal latch always popping up when I attempt to set it no matter what I put on it what should I do?
is it bad if you remove the spring first before opening the gearbox?
If you antireversal latch pops up, better than a tool, use a magnet from the other side to keep it down.

teflon is a bad idea. it doesn't stay in place and can possibly jam your piston

I know how to assemble a gearbox. However, I still love watching other people's videos on how to. This technique is almost identical to how I assemble all of mine. Great technique and compliments to the tech. Great video and perfect explanation to every step. Keep up the great work and I will definitely share this video.

So I used this video to open up my gearbox w/o ejecting the spring guide through my drywall, and it was very helpful. But at 4:00 when he pulled out the SHS piston, I noticed that it was the exact same as the one in my G&G firehawk that the back broke off. I'm not sure if my SHS piston was a lemon or what, but I think that's odd that a piston that's so highly praised in everyone else's opinion was a piece of cheap trash when it comes to me. Maybe bad luck.
This is great thanks. I recently got a King Arms M4 for around 500$ and am using a 11.1V lipo. I was worried in 6 months or a year it would smash my gears up. Good to know if it does with some research I can take it apart replace and upgrade the parts and move on without too much hassle thanks to uploads like this.
So my Cyma M4 has a problem. When I hook my battery up (which is charged) the gun will not shoot. I took the cover off under the pistol grip for the motor, when I plugged the battery in again, the motor made a noise that I couldn't hear if the cover was on. I have no idea what is going on.

Do version 2 gearboxes have a mosfet? If not how do I add one? And if I'm going to run a 11.1 lipo should i upgrade the internals kf the version 2 gearbox?
