Since alot of things were a lie in this game, it makes me wonder if wverything we know about the characters that died were even true about them:
Idk about Rantaro, Miu, or Kaede
Ryoma probably had alot to live for & had many important people in his life
Kirumi never actually ran a whole country & was probably trying to escape her execution only to found out her real life was worse than being trapped in the killing game
Kiyo probably doesn't have a sister
Angie is worshipping a false god
Tenko is actually straight
Gonta wasnt raised by wolves or reptiles
Kaito is not an astronaut
& Kokichi is not as good as detecting lies as he thinks, bc why didn't he see through Tsumugi's lie during the 1st class trial?
I missed kaede in the memories…
I’d like to think they just went to the outside world, where Kaede and other people are waiting for them.

All my favrout are dead yet I feel no emotion when someone dies even in my family because everyone dies at some point
The whole danganronpa series just made me cry. All my favourite characters died and the endings are just perfect but heartbreaking!
I want dr4 to come out where basically all the students who where executed survive
If you think this ending is suck, that means. This fiction(danganronpa) was not able to change reality(outside world of fiction), wasn't able to change you. All of this meaningful journey with all its wisdom of what is good and evil, what is hope and despair, all of it… are meaningless to you. all of it… are failed to change your perception about life : to live better as a person.

How I would rewrite V3:
✍️Case 1:
Victim – RANTARO
Killer – KAEDE
Protagonist change to SHUICHI
✍️Case 2:
Victim – RYOMA
Killer – KIRUMI
✍️Case 3:
RANTARO revived(?)
Victim – TSUMUGI (surrounded by the effigies)
Victim 2 – TENKO
Primary suspects – RANTARO and ANGIE
Killer – TSUMUGI (She killed Rantaro again and she swapped dress with Rantaro because a dead person is NOT A LIVING PERSON)
Wasted Killer (on Tenko) – They decided not to reveal because they cannot solve the mystery. They wasted their time figuring out who killed TENKO, and TSUMUGI was only caught because "RANTARO" (which was actually Tsumugi) was acting weird.
✍️Case 4:
Outcast from the Virtual world – ANGIE (because she still with her cult thing), KOREKIYO (he didn't want to enter), GONTA and HIMIKO (they still with Angie)
Victim – SHUICHI (A shock to the players because they just played as Shuichi in the virtual world)
Protagonist change to MIU
Victim 2 – ANGIE
Primary suspect – MIU, KOKICHI ("Shuichi you are very useful")
Secondary suspect – KAITO (because he got kicked out), HIMIKO and KOREKIYO (because they didn't enter)
Killer – GONTA (thought it was best to kill/free Shuichi first because he felt thankful for how helpful Shuichi was). (The whole amnesia thing didn't happen this time)
Wasted Killer(on Angie) – KOREKIYO (finally revealed that he killed both Tenko and Angie). Although wasted kill, it still benefits him because his goal is to bring friends for his sister.
NOTE – SHUICHI was killed in the real world. The reason why players could play as SHUICHI until they left the virtual world was because that was just his imported virtual memory.
They were contemplating whether Gonta or Korekiyo killed first. Somehow, the clues pointed towards Gonta and everyone except Kaito and Kokichi logically voted Gonta out. This made Kokichi hate Korekiyo.
✍️Case 5:
Victim – KOREKIYO
Primary suspect – Everyone (because they all hate Korekiyo since he is a killer)
Secondary suspect – KOKICHI (because he falsely revealed that he is the mastermind), MAKI (she is acting weird in the trial)
Killer – KAITO (Kokichi and Maki tried to kill Korekiyo but Kaito decided to protect them)

Victim – MIU
Protagonist change to KOKICHI
Killer and Mastermind – TSUMUGI (Wasn't actually executed in case 3)
ENDING – KOKICHI the lie detector protagonist he is, found out TSUMUGI lied about the whole fiction thing because the video of them "auditioning" was recorded in the Ultimate Cosplayer room (which was recorded during when people thought she was dead).
KIBO was just a camera to broadcast the killing game to bring despair to the outside world. Because of depression from MIU's death and that he was just a medium to bring despair, he became the execution weapon for TSUMUGI and he suicided.
Survivor – KOKICHI, MAKI AND HIMIKO
Chapter 6 is a masterpiece, in a sort of way. Think about it: Chunsoft (and Kodaka probably) already knew the series was over with “The End of Hope’s Peak Academy”, I seriously doubt they would have continued after that. But even so, the fandom constantly told them to make a fourth game, even though it was already over. So what did they do? They trolled them. The literally made this game just to say:”So uh, here’s the game. By the way, fuck you.” because there was literally NOTHING to say after Danganronpa 3, because that is what happens when you pretend too much for something that has already ended. Even the title is self-explanatory: “Danganronpa V3” means, after finishing the “last” Hangman’s Gambit, “Danganronpa 53”. It’s as if they are saying the fandom would literally want other games, just like a kid would want his sweets even after eating too much of them.
The twist is one of the best trolls ever conceived in a game. The whole troll was a masterpiece. It’s a middle finger to all the toxic people of the fandom.
That is why is wonderful.

Since the ending is so ambiguous we could just assume tsumugi shirogane was playing a big prank on them and the outside world is really fucked,that would be such a fun plot twist

this is a good trio ending but i don't think it's the end of the series, even tho it ended on a somber note, the creators are still working together on a new project and because danganronpa is so vast, they'd probsbly make another one after a few years
