I work on a 14/14 schedule, work being in a remote camp I have no access to sim racing for the whole 14 day I'm up there, then when I come back for 2 weeks, the first one I relearn how to race and the second I get back to "normal" and then its back to work. Really hard to improve but still a fun hobby

Also as the iracing being the best sim, no it's not, but it is unrivalled for organized scheduled racing of good quality
So why is the BMW so popular what advantage is it giving?
Ich schaue mir die Reviews an um zu sehen was die so mit den Sachen machen und wie die mit eventuellen Unzulänglichkeiten umgehen. Manchmal bekommt man so nützliche Tipps und Tricks die die eigene Erfahrung verbessern.
Bei der CSL DD z.B. hatte ich das Problem, dass mein QR zu lose war und dank Reviews habe ich erfahren, dass das Problem andere auch haben und in einem Review habe ich sogar ne Lösung dafür gefunden. Der Reviewer hat ein dünnes Stück Folie oben in die Nut mit reingelegt. Daraufhin habe ich angefangen bei mir zu experimentieren und kam zu der Erkenntnis, dass Elektriker Tape die ideale Lösung bei mir ist. Ich habe bei allen meinen Wheels im QR 1-2 Stücke Elektriker Tape direkt auf die Führung geklebt und jetzt sitzt der QR immer stramm an der CSL DD und klappert nicht mehr.
Selbe war bei den DC2. Fand das Gefühl auf der Bremse nicht gut und habe durch ein Review erfahren, dass die SZ Elastomere die Lösung sein könnten und das waren sie letztlich auch.
Es macht also durchaus Sinn sich Reviews anzuschauen obwohl man das Produkt bereits hat. Besonders kurz nach Erscheinen weil es dann noch nicht so viele Erfahrungsberichte auf reddit und Co. gibt.

iRacing decay? Dude I stopped sim racing 12 years ago, I was on iRacing back in like 2010-2011 when it was new. I got back into sim racing a few months ago and I'm still a C rank on iRacing lol. My rank never dropped.
Also, I may put my iRacing account on hold again anyway because when I started racing again I started with ACC right after the 1.8 update came up (never used the previous versions) and I honestly have no reason to use anything else yet. There are still tracks I haven't even learned, so I'm paying iRacing a monthly fee and not even using it.
I may even try rFactor 2 here soon due to the videos on the recent updates. If I'm going to try open wheel might as well try it on there since I'm not paying a monthly fee on it. Online racing may be the only downfall on there which isn't top priority for me right now, I only do maybe one online race a week at best as it is, and I have LFM for that.
