Lecture is broken down into 7 main tips:
1. Break studying down into chunked sessions.
2. Create a dedicated study area.
3. Study actively (and sleep well)
4. Take smart notes and expand on them right after class.
5. Summarize/teach what you learn.
6. Use your books correctly – SQ3R method.
7. Use mnemonics to study effectively.

7. Summarize or teach what u learned
8. Using textbooks Efficietively SQ3R
9. Using mnemonic when studying..
– Use pomodoro technique
– Create a study area
– Learn effectively by using higher order thinking and understanding the context of info in lecture
– What am I learning?
– Is it a fact that like a name of something or a concept like what something does
– Facts are harder to remember, use mnemonics
– Clarify notes taken in class immediately after lecture, or ask professor after class/during office hours to clarify fuzzy concepts
– teach what you learn and summarize in own words
1. pomodoro technique (25min study 5min break for like e.g. 5 times)→ reward after studying (bc this builds positive connections to studying)
2. dedicated study area→ no distraction, only for studying (bc our enviroment largely determines our behaviour e.g. libary=place for reading& studying)
3. active learning→ question yourself before studying if facts (remembering e.g. name of this bone) or concepts (understanding e.g. how does this bone do?)→quiz yourself (bc this supports active learning, so you recall sth. and not just regonize)
4. effective note taking→sort out your notes after class as soon as possible
5. summarize or teach what you learn (bc this supports active learning& reassure that you understood the topic)
6. use your textbooks correctly with the SQRRR-method (Survey Question Read Recite Review) (bc this supports active learning)
7. use mnemonics when studying facts through:
-acronyms (e.g. RYB for Red Yellow Blue)
-coined sayings (e.g. to be or not to)
-image/story associations (e.g. I want to remember that you use your hamstrings by jumping so I think of someone who ate too much ham and can therefore no longer jump high lol)

It's crazy that I figured all this out by myself already during my study in college. These points are common sense to me, which lead me to think… Is this lecture really that valuable?
Pov : you should be studying but you're here on YouTube watching videos about how to study when in fact the only thing you need is motivation

I never studied lots but I always know how to study.
I did this and made a 100 on my Math Exam. Now time for Biology.
